Someone call the spam police....this is getting ridiculous. The few moments I do have to spend on my blog, I end up deleting spam. Oy.
I just love people who come up to a 4-way stop that you are stopped at, slow down enough to look left at you and then preceed to go through the stop sign without stopping. Especially when they ignore the fact that you are starting to go straight, and instead cut you off to make their left hand turn. People are frickin' idiots around here.
Quicktime is evil. Whenever I try to use it to play back video, I either get audio and no video, or video and no audio, and most times neither.
I know people use it because it works on Macs, but unfortunately I never can get it to work. Grrrr....
Microsoft....almost as offensive to other nations of the world as say...George W. Bush! Amazing.
Here's one example:
"Microsoft has also managed to upset women and entire countries. A Spanish-language version of Windows XP, destined for Latin American markets, asked users to select their gender between "not specified," "male" or "bitch," because of an unfortunate error in translation."
Why is it every time I'm supposed to make something for work, I wait until the morning of to make it?. I'm attempting to make pinapple upside-down cake this morning--except I screwed up already. I was supposed to put the brown sugar and the pineapples on the bottom of the pan before I put the batter in. Doh. Guess I'm gonna get some cream cheese icing and make it just a pinapple cake. LOL.
While I'm not having to deal with a massive blackout--at least not at the moment, I am dealing with minor Movable Type issues with this blog. The first issue has been my comments don't format correctly in IE. I've tried lots of things but I still can't figure out why some of the text will not appear without highlighting the text areas. The problem doesn't appear to exist with Netscape/Mozilla/Firebird.
The second issue is my archive template refuses to become more like my main page template. I started by adding the banner, yet it does not appear, not even in the code when I view source. It's in the code that's saved for my main archive template file, though. It's really bizarre. So despite some effort, the blog isn't quite where I want it yet and I don't know why it does or doesn't do things.
And to top it off, when my brother changed my screen resolution, I saw that I need to fix another minor thing with the template. *sigh*
So excuse the glitches and imperfections...I'm working on it, slowly. LOL. Any ideas on how to fix these issues are graciously welcomed. :)
